Cocoa - Bird Watching

Two weeks ago I learned that my cat, Felicia, has cancer. The good news is, she is doing well so far. The tumor is not growing so far and she is fat and happy.

The really bad news is, last week my other cat Cocoa stopped eating and was acting lethargic. I took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with the FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) virus. We were told it is untreatable.

We force fed him with a syringe for 2 days, but could not get him to eat anything else otherwise. It was torture for him and for us. His skin turned yellow indicating his liver was not working anymore. After he spent an entire day just laying on my bed, we called a retired vet we know who and had Cocoa euthanized at our home. It feels so unfair to be loosing both of my cats. They are like family members to me.

Looking Down

I am loving my new computer. It's a million times faster than my old "Dell from Hell". Plus I upgraded to Photoshop CS4. So nice to have the right tools to work with. Now if only my brain could keep up! LOL
The quote on this layout is:
The reason cats climb is so that they can look down on almost every other animal... its also the reason they hate birds. ~ KC Buffington

Scatter Joy

I suppose I could have chosen a different title for this picture of Dani with her little Mona Lisa smile here, but anyone who knows her would know how well the title fits her. :)

Sweet Felicia

Perfect Companions

Our cats stay strictly inside the house so when Danille carried Cocoa outside to take some pics, I don't think he was too crazy about the idea! They still turned out pretty cute though.
The quote by Colette is:
Our perfect companions never have fewer than four feet.

What's for Lunch?

I received some sad news this week. My cat Felicia has cancer. The vet could not tell me how long she has to live. He said he does not believe she will have any pain until it reaches the end stages, so I am going to give her lots and lots of love and watch carefully to be sure she's not suffering. I really love this cat.

Angel Face

As always, my favorite subject to scrap, my daughter, Danielle.
