Charles Dickens Quotation

My new cat, Cocoa, and my older cat, Felicia, are getting along a lot better lately. Felicia's still a bit territorial at times, but at worst she bops him on the nose and Cocoa is smart enough to just walk away.  The quotation is from Charles Dickens:  What greater gift than the love of a cat?

Creativity is...

I love the way Danielle distressed this photo. The quote is:
Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun.

Dance in the Rain

Those who say sunshine brings happiness have never danced in the rain.

Fonferek's Glen

My daughter's friend took beautiful photos at a local park, but they were all very small (low in resolution). I wasn't sure how I was going to scrap them until I ran across a template on MIKELINZ blog that provided the perfect solution!

The journaling on this layout reads:
Fonferek's Glen is a 74-acre park in Ledgeview with limestone cliffs, a stone archway and a 50-foot waterfall. Danielle enjoys spending time there with friends like Ron, Christy, Brooklyn, Marz and Kayla. 03/09

Live in the Moment

Remember that as a teenager you are at the last stage of your life when you will be happy to hear that the phone is for you!

Just 2 Weeks Old

Hard to believe I took this photo almost eighteen years ago! Where does the time go??

Sew Talented

Sorry, I couldn't resist the pun!
The stuffed animal that looks like a cat with a big red nose is called a moogle. Danielle made him for her boyfriend. (I asked her if I could have it and she said noooooooo!) :^)

Dream Big

OK, I'm back to my favorite subject to scrap, my pride and joy, Danielle! This photo was taken at school by one of her friends.

Card Making Party

I invited my mom and some good friends over to help celebrate the completion of my Scrapbook Studio/Art Room. I had a wonderful time and hope everyone else did too!

(The book is perfect for printing your digital scrapbook layouts!) To be sure you qualify for this offer, please click HERE to visit ArtsCow.com today.

I just ordered my first photo book from ArtsCow tonight! It was very easy to do. I simply uploaded my layouts, then dragged and dropped them onto the book template.

You will notice on the book template that the sides of each page are shaded in gray to indicate where it will be trimmed off. (This is called the bleed area.) If you want your layout to cover the entire page of your book, you may want to extend your backgrounds out a quarter inch on each side to make sure nothing important gets cut off. Or you can do what I did: Since I did not design my layouts with this extra "bleed" area, I just left a border of white page around each layout. I think they look better with this white space around them anyway! Here is a link to my book if you would like to take a peek: Danielle Eva Marie Book

Life is Good

This photo of me was taken by my husband four or five years ago. It is still one of my (only) favorites. I wish I could remember what book I was reading! The caption says:
