LOVE

This photo of Felica was taken shortly after we adopted her from the Humane Society in March 1999.

True Blue Friends

After they raked our big backyard, Dani and Vanessa ducked under the big blue tarp we use to haul leaves to the curb and took this photo.

Lunch Break

Danielle wrote the journaling which says:
Whenever Ariel has her car we take a very loud trip to Taco Bell during open campus where we feed off of the 99 Cent Value Menu plus whatever else Oscar can win with our pocket change.

So Photogenic {Not!}

Ever have one of those days??
Last summer, our family went to an outdoor art festival to see a painting my daughter had on display. I made sure to bring my camera because I really wanted a photo of her standing along side of it. As we were leaving, I realized I never took that darn photo! Danielle was teasing me about being absent minded so I stuck my tongue out at her and she took this lovely picture.

It's a Record

The journaling on the tag reads:
This month we had a total of 45.6 inches of snowfall ~ the most on record for any December in Green Bay. The previous record of 36.4 inches was set way back in December 1887.
Dad finally bought a brand new snowblower, but Dani still does her fair share of shoveling!

Free Spirit

Danielle took this picture of herself spinning around on the park swing. I would have fallen off the swing if I tried it myself!

Wise Kitty?

I love this quote by Bette Midler:
Cats always seem so very wise, when staring with their half-closed eyes. Can they be thinking, "I'll be nice, and maybe she will feed me twice?"

Best Gift Ever

Happy Valentine's Day! It's my wedding anniversary on the 14th too. Last week my husband told me that he had already picked out my gift and that we were going to go pick it up early! As we were riding in the car I was really confused because we headed away from the mall and out to the country. All I could see were farms! He finally stopped at the end of a long muddy driveway next to a house. It took me a few moments to notice a sign in the yard that said: "Saving Paws Animal Rescue." He then told me I could pick out any cat or dog I wanted! I was so excited! But it was so hard to do. I wanted a cat, but they had at least a dozen nice ones. (Can I take them all home please???) I couldn't make up my mind at first so we took a short lunch break. When we came back I chose Cocoa. He has the sweetest personality. I will never forget this Valentine's Day. It is the best one ever!

For Tami

My dear friend Tami and I not only share the same neurological disorder (a very bad thing!) but a deep love for animals (a very good thing!) I have put together a little brag book featuring all of her beloved pets - past and present - for Valentine's Day.

The last two pages have photos of my cats, Felicia and Cocoa.
Most of the elements in these layouts came from a free colaboration kit called Forever Mine which can be found on The Blog Train Blog.
