Muskrat

I've started working on a book featuring photos of animals from around my husband's hunting camp in Upper Michigan. Each page will include interesting facts about them. For example, did you know Muskrats can stay under water for up to 15 minutes to find food or evade predators?

For me, scrapbooking is more than just a hobby. It's the best way I know how to keep my mind off my troubles and focus my attention on all the blessings I have in my life.

I used work at a newspaper in the graphics department full-time plus sell digital scrapbook kits on the side. That came to a halt when I was diagnosed with a rare neurological condition called a Chiari Malformation. I've had three surgeries so far that have only made my symptoms worse.

To try and make a long story short, I am no longer able to work and now use the limited time I'm able to spend on the computer to digital scrapbook and maintain my blog. I feel blessed that I am able to do this because it helps me focus on what is important in my life. Some days I think it's what helps me keep my sanity!
